How It Started - Our Journey to Award-Winning Platform!
Optimum Capacity Services was founded in 2020 by a group of entrepreneurs who were inspired to create a community platform that would bring people together and facilitate meaningful connections. The idea for the platform first came about during the pandemic, when we were approached by the Scottish Tech Army to collaborate on a pilot project in the town of Dunbar, Scotland, to support an ailing high street and invigorate local economic recovery.
The pilot was a huge success, and it wasn't long before we decided to roll out the platform to other communities in East Lothian. In recognition of the impact our platform was having, the Scottish Tech Army were awarded the 'Scotland Loves Local Digital Town' award.
Since then, we have continued to grow and expand, and today our platform is being used by five active and diverse communities, including authors and publishers, local communities, tourists, and eco-activists.
